New to blogging? Remember these 3 Blog Lessons
3 Blog Lessons from N.E, writer of The Tripped Therapy
Who is N.E?
N.E (The Tripped Therapy) posted his first blog on Substack in April 2025. Currently, he has over 1.4K subscribers. His writing is all about exploring “self-awareness, presence, and the quiet shifts that shape how we experience life.”
But what makes him different? N.E is writing in a reflective, almost journal-like tone that invites people to pause rather than just consume. After reading some of his posts, this became very clear to me: I can read these type of posts for hours.

Lesson 1: Keep it simple
“Simplicity often holds more truth than complexity.”
People want to hear a clear message. They want honest articles that are easy to understand. So keep it simple. Don’t try to look smart by using complex words, tell the truth.
For beginners, this means:
Forget about difficult words. If you truly need these, explain what it means.
Keep it simple.
Lesson 2: Consistency is key
“Consistency matters more than bursts of inspiration.”
Keep showing up. Keep posting blogs and notes. Keep connecting with your audience. Don’t post when you feel inspired, but keep posting. Even when you don’t have a lot of inpiration.
For beginners, this means:
It is important that people see you. Show up, even when you’re not feeling inspired.
Lesson 3: Share regularly
“Overthinking can block clarity more than lack of knowledge.”
If you overthink everything, you block your own thoughts. It is not bad if you don’t know something. Don’t overthink everything, it will make it more difficult for people to understand you.
For beginners, this means:
It is not bad if you don’t know everything. Be honest if you don’t know something, maybe someone can help you.
